Policy priorities

• Fully fund public schools so that ALL kids have access to quality education

• Repair unsafe school buildings and ensure the safety of our kids

• Support teachers and school staff so they have access to educational resources without spending their own money and can focus on doing one of the most important and essential services in society without non-educators telling them how to do it

• Protect the Department of Education, fund it, and preserve its mission to maintain a well-educated population

Plain language
Every child deserves a safe school and a good education, no matter where they live. Schools just a few miles apart should not have wildly different resources. Education should be strengthened, not torn down.
