Amanda
I grew up in rural Sheboygan County and learned the value of hard work early, starting my first job at age 10 and often working two at a time to make ends meet. I went on to study natural resources at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, and today I live on a small farm where my family raises goats to help manage invasive species—because caring for our land is at the heart of who I am. I’ve worked in bakeries, banks, factories, gas stations, and federal leadership, and through it all I’ve remained committed to treating people with dignity and respect. As an advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a neighbor who believes in helping one another, I’m not afraid to take on tough challenges and fight for a Wisconsin that works for everyone.
Most of all I want to know what YOU need. I want to hear from the people living in our district and hear what they want from their representative. A Congressional Representative should be listening to their voters. I promise to do that. I want to hear from you.
