Policy priorities

• Strengthen voter protection laws to make sure everyone can vote without jumping over hurdles to get there

• Ensure free and fair elections with district maps that make sense and grant equal representation, as well as oversight into voting machine maintenance and requiring ways to check that ballots were actually counted

• Reform campaign finance laws to reduce the amount of big money in politics, ideally giving every candidate the same budget

• Increase transparency and accountability surrounding vote tallying, recounts, and election processes

• Move towards ranked choice voting to reduce partisan politics

Plain language
Our democracy only works when people trust it. Every voter should be able to vote safely and have their voice counted. Big money should not control elections. You should feel good about the candidate you vote for, and not as if you have to choose the lesser of two evils.
